I'll have to play with those sort of sources and report back; nothing I've experienced with it so far suggests any problems. In fact, it's so good at low ratio work, it's probably perfect. You could definitely run a very low ratio with a very large swing in gain reduction over the course of a program, and likely not notice any real compressor action (in negative ways) at all. I think I already commented somewhere that in AR mode, you can set it up so it acts more like an AGC (automatic gain control).
