Well, I should amend my first post and say that I moving to an apartment where I will have no room for (putting a mic on) amps I am crossing over to something like Guitar Rig 4 Pro, amplitube 3 or Eleven Rack, so that will take the electric management out of my hands.
That being said, I know that ribbons are mostly used on cabs and for overheads on drums, but I would like to know if they can really increase my game in recording the acoustics and vocals.
