Personally i would invest in hardware, considering that i outfitted my new studio computer with a whole grip of used plug-ins (good ones too, Abbey Road Digital, Sonnox Oxford, Eventide Anthology, Antares Pitch N' Time and Autotune, etc etc) for PENNIES on the dollar. Slapped some brand new Massey authorizations on there and i'm good to go.

But on the hardware side, stuff holds it's value.
