So I recorded a dj mix last night and at the end of the set after congratulating myslef on mixing the set of my life, i looked at the recorded waveform and all i could see was black.

Looks like on the sound settings, the input level was turned way up for some reason, like to 7 whereas its normally on 1.
So I ended up with a heavily clipped, distorted mix, sounds like it was recorded at some festival or something with the really boomy exploding bass. I think it may be salvagable though. Looks like the majority of the mix is only very slightly clipping with some songs more than others. transitions at points are a bit on the distorted side but not too bad either.
My question is, what techniques or programs do you recommend for processing an entire hour long mix for this clipping/distortion issue. I've seen a few programs out there that look promising but was wondering if anyone has used them successfully. I think this file would be a good candidate since its still listenable even right now, i'd just love to clean it up some more.
any ideas???
