Man, that's no joke. Never before has there been a piece of equipment I wanted more than a GS3000. For whatever reason, I have been lusting for one for years....as if it was the last and biggest piece of the puzzle for me and would elevate anything I did to legendary status... LOL!
I've never even seen one in person. At one point, there was one on ebay for $2000 but I wasn't in the markert then, but knew what it was. Maybe it's because Johnny Marr had worked on one... ?? What's frustrating (sort of) is that if this is a new GS3000, I no longer use a computer to record with and this things is geared (and priced) for that. My machine does have 8 channels of adat built in though, so if it's a 3000 with adat...... steely |
Friend of mine picked one up from an auction for £1000, 32 channel with meter bridge. They have beens showing up second hand, in Britain, quite bit this last few years.
