My recommendation is don't spend 500$ in strings for pop-rock music.You don't need to spend that much for your needs.If you are new with strings Viena could be too much for you and go crazy with articulations, velocities, etc...
Something like this(50$) can do the pop-rock job and it is very easy to use:
