thanks for the feedback. didn't realize that plugins on the master fader would affect things. AAMOF I had ARC RTAS inserted... will remove that and see if it was the culprit.

I have the delay compensation set to long. do I need to disable DC?

Are you suggesting that I reduce the CPU to less than 95% and reduce the playback buffer to 128?
