i am in the process of getting estimates from acoustical engineers as well, but I'm afraid my budget would not allow for that. I'm confident with the interior construction, I've done a couple studios out of existing spaces for my self and other people. They've turned out pretty nice. But obviously the advice of a pro would be much better.

Can some one drop me a few names of trusted, legit designers?
Hopefully around my area...? Portland, OR, USA...
Some one like Russ Berger is probably out of my range. I'm no where near that big time to deserve world class.
