Same here. I leave a 1/2 rack space below. It's annoying, but with mine it's not the screws--the case itself extends too far beneath the mounting holes to fit without leaving some space. I had the same trouble with an Apogee AD16, and it's hard to believe it's an accident--more likely it's a way to ENFORCE a ventilation zone . . .
