| I'm a Digital Performer user who has been doing most of my work in Live since July. At first I was sure that I'd be using ReWire to run Live into DP but I've come to the conclusion that I can do ALMOST everything I want in Live at this point and the extra kludge and processor hit isn't worth the extra program running. So Live has become my main environment, and I'm not a DJ or live electronic music performer. I like it as a studio tool.
Live's workflow is different from a regular DAW, but it can do very complex routing at this point and the sound quality is great. I find it much more fun to use. Except, of course, when it crashes (but then so does DP, and Live recovers much better).
That said, Logic users all swear by their included plugs and softsynths, so there you go.
