Don't forget to check battery condition regularly, particularly in machines that are prone to leakage like the Polysix, OSCar, JP4, Kurz K250, Linn Drum. Also it pays to exercise every control on every machine every few months, as some sliders and knobs and switches almost never get used. Exercise jacks as well, and treat with Deoxit. Check captive mains cords for damage and fraying. I use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment and a hand held paint brush together for dusting.
