| My outboard modular mixer is ALWAYS covered as I spent 6 months cleaning that baby out. Most of my synths that are not being used always have a cover on them all of the time. The ones that are not covered are routinely used around the clock and are dusted with a cleaning duster once a week. I have a cat, so my studio room carpet is vacuumed once or twice a week. Every few months I vacuum behind my desk and under all my cables, unplug my power strips, clean and vacuum them to prevent any fire hazards.
