| thanks for the reply. sorry, i should have been more clear. yes, it's when i turn the knob from direct to effect that the signal drops off dramatically. i've tried the output and input knobs in a variety of positions, but wherever they are, the effect signal is always way lower than the direct. i have the vca and vcf buttons off, so, correct me if i'm wrong, but those shouldn't be doing anything. i've tried it with both a synth and line level dj mixer output plugged directly, and on the aux loop of my board.
i guess my question is just do you ever experience this drop when turning the knob from direct to effect?
