I was told to go with an Alesis D4 and that's what I think I'll do, but I wanted to post this thread before I shell out for it. I'm not a drummer (just a programmer) and I wanted to check to see if something else may be worth looking at to achieve the kind of a sound that I'm looking for. It'd be nice to find some samples of that D4 and others like it... All I can say is that it's that 'in between' sound  |
What band/songs are those? I really like the vibes they give off. I'm guessing they're probably just using a sampler of some kind. Simmons' analog would be able to get you a couple of the sounds I hear, but it can only take you so far.
I'm guessing they just used Drumagog as a sampler. Such little work that way.
