Greetings.

I have certain preamps which have no phase switch, and there are times wherein I need to flip the phase. My apologies in advance if this is a bonehead question, but couldn't I make an out-of-phase XLR cable by reversing pins 2 and 3? In other words: in-phase XLR:
pin:
1->1
2->2
3->3

out of phase XLR:
1->1
2->3
3->2

Correct? Or am I shrooming?
