Hey, thanks so much Casey! I know it has been a frustrating and trying time for you guys, but I pray that the positive energy that you have given out in your great customer service will also come back to you ten fold in your families and health.

It has been a blast, and quite addictive, running various mixes through the Bricasti. For example, I have been taking famous songs that were mixed dry like "My Favorite Things" by John Coltrane and seeing if the Bricasti degrades the mix or possibly improves on the sound. I can say with confidence that the Bricasti does not take away any from the original mix, but it gels with the mix to take it to an even higher level. I'm gonna stick with "higher level" and not the word "better" because I know some people will have a cow if I say that the Bricasti made "My Favorite Things" sound "better." Relax...
Bricasti could not save "And Justice For All" by Metallica though! Running that mix through Bricasti was revealing though- it revealed that that particular mix will go down forever in history as the most infamous and obstinate mix. I really think that album should be donated to the Smithsonian to be analyzed Still a great performance by the band though.

Wow, this has been one of the most enjoyable times of my life. I was able to get the Bricasti, the Dangerous D Box, API A2d, and use it with the Profire 610, I7 cpu, and Big Ben all together at 96k. The Digital audio age has been incredibly frustrating sometimes with formats coming and going, and all of the money spent on plugins and fads. But I feel like I can get back to really being creative without being stifled by the mediocre sound caused by jitter, phase issues, and 2nd rate reverb. Want a great mix? I suggest this (not necessarily in this order): Get great preamps, good mics, stable clock, great performance, good arrangement, lots of positive energy, and then throw in a Bricasti...

The Lord has blessed me beyond measure in my life, and I offer Him my heart and thanks. I also want to say thanks to all the people on this board that have shared their knowledge and taken the time to bless other people. I wish everyone mucho success and good health in the coming year!
