Well, the reason is that I think Akai's been making up whole batches of a certain type -- putting them out, seeing if they sell or not, and then dropping them when they don't do well.
The thing they don't get is that
MPC users need some STURDY machines. Think about the old ones, man, even the MPC3000 and MPC2000 were sturdy metal machines that would ****ing hurt you if you dropped them on your foot. Not the new stuff though, that would just bounce off your foot and shatter into tiny pieces of plastic all over the floor.
Akai, go back to making real machines! Stop with the FisherPrice shit!
