Yes, they are built in New Zealand, they were designed by Tim Farrant of Buzz Audio (with a lot of input from myself as to how I wanted it to sound and its combination of features). He also designed the APA Revolver, and our upcoming opto compressor. I think we make a unique and complementary team since we are both recording engineers who come from different engineering backgrounds/approaches (and Tim is one of the most talented designers around IMO).
