Audition is awesome. Nope, I dont do any midi work in it so thats one reason I love it so much. Nor does it interact with my M-Audio board but out of the many, many DAW's it seems ive tried, I always kept firing up Audition and have stuck with it. The music on my pages below were mostly, if not all, done with Audition.
