Now, I haven't seen this exact piece in the stores yet, but traditionally Grace uses machined aluminum parts. Not cheapo plastic like you find in a lot of other gear. I would also be very surprised if a "wannabe hip hop" person will use the Channel Strip. Grace is transparent gear. Not going to get much "vibe" out of it. What goes in is what comes out.

Looking at my rack. Unfortunately All of my equipment have el cheapo plastic knobs. Neve, Mytek, api, millenia.... NO machined aluminum parts here.
