You might get a pair of Gefell UM70s for under US$1000 on a good day and you 'd love 'em. Just had some feedback fron a customer for a second hand pair of these babies and he is delighted with them. Agree with the Gefell M930 as a nice choice, the UM70 might be a tad more versatile though.
