Hi people! Yes you can have 14DSP card for synth task and it will work flawless within Fireface 800 for example. You can still use Fireface 800 as is - and use Scope Pro as Synth DSP card only. Something like UAD for effects.
But once when you start to dig deeper inside i doubt you'll stop just on using DSP for synth...
