The freeze for the channels inserts only was the thing I had in mind. I couldn't work without that, especially when we talk about big projects when you have frequently 70 to 100 tracks, and want to use things like Nebula or other cpu intensive processors. Or an offline processing of the audio regions with plugins (I wish Logic had that too..).
