Thanks for your continued interest in Mixbus.
We didn't feel that the existing "freeze" function would be appreciated because the Harrison channel strip processing must always be on. We removed Ardour's "freeze" and implemented a "Consolidate" function which applies all of the region gain envelopes, fades, and crossfades and renders into a single region on the track. This is one of the few features that we removed from Ardour, but it is likely that in the future we will revisit this.
