This is very close to what I'm using for my remote rig. DP4.6, 15 inch Powerbook 1.5MHZ - 1 gig ram, and the Fireface. It has been very stable especially with 4.6.
I can't compare it to the 002. It does so much more than the 002, and I don't seem to have any problems that 002 owners cry about! Just check the DUC if you want to know what problems people are having with Digi gear.
