Advice for new studio with SSL

Hey everyone,

I'm going to be building a recording studio in Minneapolis, MN over the next year that will be home to an SSL 4000g. This is the SSL that was in Unique Studios in NYC for much of the 1980's and the 1990's. Here's where I would like some advice. I have found a 2000sq ft. space that is quite suitable, save for the ceilings. The ceiling starts at 11ft and slopes down to 9.5ft in the back. My concern is that the low ceilings will keep some clientèle from booking studio time. I would place the control room in the front with the highest ceilings. That would leave the live room with about 10.5' ceiling. Is this going to hurt my ability to book acts with larger budgets? Thanks!
