i've been working on a DIY jecklin disk over the last month, using a 30.5" wooden disk and various kinds of foam (my most recent being a k-flex noise isolator)

problem is, its not been very successful. results haven't gone my way probably due to the absorption characteristics of the foam i'm using. i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what foam i could use to reduce hf reflections in a manner similar to jecklin's original idea off using lamb fleece?

cheers!
Use open cell foam or fiberglas/mineral wool. Jecklin disks are fantastic in appropriate rooms.

Enjoy!
