| Something with high resolution in not too ridiculous a screen size.
WUXGA is a good resolution spec (1920 x 1080 pixels).
I got a 24" one for £180 - it's got nearly a many pixels as the 2 17" screens I had before put together (they were 1280 x1024)
It's widescreen (great for editing, and seeing lots of mixer channels at once), and doesn't take up too much room between the monitors (far less in width than my two 17s, and just a couple inches more in height). Okay, for more money I could have bought a better quality screen, but size wise it's spot on - to be honest even quality wise, I'm in front of mine for about 10 hours a day tracking mixing and editing on Cubase and it's been great to work with for the past year or so. |
