The Cranesong Hedd is a great AD/DA, you can't go wrong with that. But, considering you only have a Rane Ms1b, maybe you should get a Dav BG1 or other quality 2 channel pre for your synth and then spend the money on an AD/DA. If you can test drive the converter before buying, it's always a great idea.
For Mixdowns I prefer the Hedd to the Rosetta, but I also like my Mytek DA too. Once you start getting at this level of conversion, you need to try the converters to choose which one is best for your setup. I would have no problem cutting some great tracks on all 3.
