It's a monitor mixer. Who cares what brand it is?
Cheap and easy to replace (note i didnt even say
fix) is what it's all about for this application. Carllock hit it right on the head.
They probably have a couple brand new in the box somewhere in one of the trucks, just in case that one breaks. And from that standpoint, what BETTER brand of gear to toss into the dumpster after one faulty connection than a Behringer? It's perfect!
Show me a dubbing stage with a Behringer or Mackie 8-bus and i would be upset, but that's not happening.
