yeah in that context it is kind funny. I have no beef with certain Behringer products - they make these active DI's that we have a bunch of in the PA workshop - they are OK except that the Pad buttons stick out and it's easy to accidently unpad them... 40dB more gain than you are expecting is a little scary...
They also make a gate thats pretty usable as well, a 'B' rig alturnative to the Drawmer.
