Question for you guys! Finally staring down the barrel of this setup and I want to make sure I have everything planned correctly. Having never used either, my concern is most likely a no-brainer.

Routing with the ATB... it's an 8-buss system. Cool but there are only the 8 physical outputs on the submasters and the direct-outs on each channel. Let's say my vocal chain is all setup on channel 12 and he wants to do a double on track 19. Is there no way to accomplish this routing without re-cabling/patching? The direct-out of the channel is all set from channel 12 to track 12 on the radar. If I assign to one of the 8 submasters, that'll get me wherever they happen to be patched but that doesn't give me much flexibility as now I can get from channel 12 to track 12 or one of only 8 other tracks fed from the subs. I wanna get from any channel to any track; how does that work?

Basic, I know. There's gotta be a really clever solution that I'm missing!
