You said you're not an engineer, yet you're asking how to be one.

If it was so simple it could be explained on a bulletin board, do you think some of us would spend years developing our craft?

Fwiw, if you think YouTube is acceptable quality to rap over, you need to do a lot of critical listening and experimenting until you CSM hear how degraded the audio is. There isn't a lot you can do to improve this, so unless you get some better quality instrumentals, what you do isn't really going to make an improvement . Compress your vocals a bit and balance them with the track. Don't damage things further.

If you're a bit more serious, team up with someone who can handle the engineering/production side, get a semi decent mic and interface, and go from there.

Not trying to discourage you, but without decent ingredients, you're never going to be able to cook a great meal, even on the worlds best kitchen.
