I have access to a planer, as I said in the post above. But to get to it, I'd have to drive 45 minutes, pay gas, and use more of my time, all of which I consider to be more valuable than the extra dollar to just buy it precut. But yeah, if the driving wasn't a factor, I'd do it for sure.
