Pro Tools is nothing more than a tool. Like Cubase and Ableton and Sonar and countless others. You can record just as well with others and still crank out great recordings. And you're not a slave to what Digidesign wants. Using a tool put out by a company that decides everything for you and locks you into their hardware is absurd.
