Can I run 96K with 2408 mkIIs and PCI324?

I am running DP4.12 on a 450 mhz G4 with 896MB of SDRAM.
I am running OSX 10.3.

I use a PCI 324 interface card and two MOTU 2408 mkII interfaces.
Everything works fine except I do have more latency than I'd like on input, but I believe this is due to using a PCI 324 with OSX.

I was told by a friend that I can run DP4 at a sample rate of 96K, but I only see 41.K and 44K in the hardware setup window.

The manual also says that you can run 96K on a PCI324 but that you can only get half the number of channels of audio down the wire to the interface (2408 mkII.)

Why can't I see an option to run at 96K anywhere?

I can run at 24 bit.
