I think I qualified my statement about Pro Tolls in the preamble, by saying some of this gear is among the best you can buy. I'm aware of the quality of Pro Tools. However:
1. Digidesign makes gear that no one else can interface with, whether it's HD or LE, it's exclusive to Digi.
2. You pay twice or three times as much for the same plug in for Pro tools as you would pay for Audio Unit's, or VST. Why?
3. Apogee converters smoke protools for less money.
4.One can do anything on Digital Performer, Logic and several other DAWs that you can do on Pro tools but to hear the Pro tools guys tell it, nothing else exists.
5. And Finally, it's just an attitude thing. Digi has an attitude and I don't like it.
