I just demoed Record and I am really amazed. I have also mixed some commercial projects on the new Harrison Mixbus. Both systems are superior sounding than the usual suspects like Logic, Pro Tools, Cubase etc. but the Ardour platform on which Mixbus is based on, just doesn't do it for me.

Anyway I prefer Record so far...

I mixed several Projects on several SSLs. Every desk sounds different anyway, BUT Record DEFINITELY has a strong SSL flavor :-)
This thing is fun to work with, since its intuitive workflow and limitations make it creative and totally different to the other bloatware DAWs . I really got tired of chasing after new plugins and endless DAW updates lately.....

Record won't replace Logic as a composing tool for me, but it will be my ITB mixing tool for smaller budget clients in the near future.
