People will make the music that makes them happy. If that's the loudest mix on the planet, who are we to say they are wrong? They are entitled to their opinions.
I've come to view the whole thing with a morbid curiosity and a general sense of laissez-faire. I'm still waiting til someone successfully releases a -4 dB RMS mix. Should be awesome.
