So i am new to using outboard Fx. The band i work for is looking to get some to start off mainly for lead vox, i would like to be able to add some Fx to drums and back up vox as well. How can i accomplish this in terms of hooking up the fx processor to our board? I want the singer to hear some fx in his monitors but i also want effects on lead vox in FOH.

Our board is a CPM 32-4: 32 channels, 4 sub groups, 4 pre EQ aux sends, 2 POST, 2 aux returns.

Everywhere i look it shows to send an Aux to the in on the processor and then send the outs back to an aux return. On the aux out going into the processor what do i want to send jusst what i want to get processed with effects? like a floor tom or a vocalist?
