Daw to ST button pressed with trim at 1 o'clock ...this lets you hear the playback from your mp3 player from within windows
Plug your guitar into a channel on the N. Make sure at the top of the channel the light is GREEN and not yellow, this represents Audio IN. Bring the fader up to 0. Make sure the ST button next to the fader on that channel is illuminated green.....this lets you send the signat to the ST buss (which you are monitoring from the CR section)
On the reverb channel make sure you have the send to ST button pressed and illuminated green, this will send the reverb to the ST channel also. Make the adjustment of how much you want by using the REV on the channel you have the guitar plugged into.
Compressor.... now you have the guitar coming in and passing signal turn the gain of the compressor fully clockwise on the channel your guitar is on. See it light up red? that's the compressor working. If it's not red turn up the gain on the channel...twist your knob till it feels right
Forget onboard sound and routing that to 2 track in, that's the worst advice I've ever heard.
Just set your windows sound to come through the Mlan stereo out |
