Objective : Hear my input channels (instrument) and DAW sounds together !!
Helpers on THIS subject : WISEG, LEMONTREE

Not necessary to have cubase/nuendo open.
This is about hearing your mic/instrument with DAW sound. On other mobile recording interfaces this happens by default…but with the Ns you gota do some routing.

The following 4 steps allow me to hear my guitar along with the DAW (nuendo/windows/any) sounds.

On mixer Channel 1 – press the ON button, the green ST button and raise the fader to 0db.
On mixer STEREO channel – press the ON button and raise the fader to 0db.
Above the STEREO channel press the DAW TO ST button and raise its level.
Choose the C-R SOURCE as ST.

Routing explanation :
Step 1 sends your instrument signal to a chain called ST buss.
Step 2 is like a master volume of the ST buss at this point.
Step 3 adds the DAW sounds to the ST buss.
Step 4 outputs the ST buss to your monitors.

Iam a beginner learning my way around.
Will be posting such basic TIPS just show my appreciation to all contributors.
