thanks for the tip.....will try this out..
my question at this stage...if you please :
------------------------------------------
a regular sound card usually works this way :
-you can hear your windows/daw/os sounds throughout
-you can hear the instrument when you plug it in...
-meaning you hear EVERYTHING simultaneously...
with N8... to hear windows/daw i have to press DAW as C-R source
and to hear my plugged in instrument... i have to do the AUX routing and press AUX as C-R source...but then there is no windows/daw sounds
in nuendo/cubase...i know how to do this...i know how to monitor my instrument while the rest of the session plays... i press the YELLOW monitor button.
but generally (without cubase/nuendo) how do i hear my windows/daw sounds and plugged in instruments simultaneously ????
lets say i wanna play an mp3 file and jam with my acoustic guitar using the the N8 reverb...
can someone layout quick steps???
