It's something that's been seen at least once or twice in print ads
for mic companies. Who, you know, presumably
look at the fruits of their advertising expenditures and
sign off on these things. Who knows what their thinking -- if any --is on such a thing. But I've always got a big laugh out of such apparent muff-ups. It's kind of like the famous snapshot of the SM57 carefully position in front of the Marshall amp head. (The
speakerless Marshall amp head.)
