im posting as i progress
Ive done all updates ! All done nicely by the books..or shall i say PDFs.
Have figured out a few things.
The input channels are only listed when i use a Yam N-8 template in nuendo 4. A regular new project doesnt display that in nuendo input,output and master channel. Do i have to live with this...or there are some in depth settings can look at ??? Or do i have to expand on the template and make my own
The sound drop is gone. The new control panel rocks SIMPLY !
Got the compressor working (in monitoring AUX only)
got the reverb working (in monitoring AUX only)
I can only listen to whats plugged in (guitar/mic) when my C-R is AUX...
and to hear my PC signal i have to keep it DAW..but then i dont hear AUX (whats plugged in)
what do i gota do to play something on my PC and jam along...
lets say i play a drum loop media player... i wana jam along with my MIC and GUITAR (using the board compressor and reverb)
sounds like i need to combine the AUX stuff and DAW stuff...
please point out the missing link !
once i break this...i will move onto recording with onboard comp n reverb !
i read the manual BTW....it explains and define much...but i would have appreciated a sequenced setup for various applications...standalone..with DAW...and so on. The signal flows diags are nice but the same thing should have been elaborated scenario wise.
I guess this led to giving us Mr.George as a human guide. Great contributions from his side.
