does the compressor and reverb NOT work without cubase ready light...just like the remote section ??? I thot i cud use the compressor and reverb with the mixer as standalone even (without a DAW/PC)

You want the DAW to ST button engaged and the trim at 1 oclock
The reverb and comp work without even having it hooked up to a computer. Make sure you are sending the reverb to ST or to AUX if you are monitoring that way.
Sounds like you haven't had the manual out the box yet. Trust me on this one, you will NEED to RTFM a few times to get your head around all the possible routing features. MLan can be a bit daunting.
You will need to have the extensions instaled (sounds like you have if the cubase ready light is on I think) for Cubendo to see your routing. Or you can set them up manualy under VST connections. I made a couple of templates that way and saved them.
