| Overall pretty cool. The autotune and basic riff seems like a rip of Cher's "I Believe" but the back half of the song doesn't feel that way as much. I'd say it's more dance/retro-club than modern pop. I think there may be certain testosterone dominated nightclubs that would spin this into a minor hit.
I'm not digging the lead monosynth sound but I like the flutey drum thing that's a background throughout parts. Stuff is well balanced though the lead vox is a touch thin.
Ditch the autotune, seriously. If you want a more cold robot feeling then work on your accent and recut the lead vox, it is noticeable. Good sense of melody and production I'd say. |
