yes ...this is what i need... being able to hear my recording signal while the other tracks play along just like a normal sound interface.
so i need to press AUX in the C-R-SELECT section...and dial up the AUX knob on my mic channel ???
BUT..also...i dont hear the DAW(song) when i select anything apart DAW in the C-R SOURCE SELECT ...could you please elaborate this stage 
using NUENDO 3 actually (but i have nuendo-4 too with which the cubase ready lights up...)

does the compressor and reverb NOT work without cubase ready light...just like the remote section ??? I thot i cud use the compressor and reverb with the mixer as standalone even (without a DAW/PC)
