You know the type. They're everywhere. here's a recent conversation with one:
Me: Do you like music?
Him: Oh yes. I love music.
Me: Cool! What do you like to listen to?
Him: Ooh, anything really.
Me: (Eye twitching) Gaaah..
Him: You ok?
Me: Yes, fine. I'm just going to put some Slayer on - is that ok?
Him: Err, yes. I've never heard of them.
*CD Starts to play*
Him: Uuurgh! It's just noise and you can't hear the words!
Me: Oh, ok, I'll change the CD. How about some Steely Dan?
Him: Err, yes.
*CD Starts to play*
Him: Oh no! That music is very odd and is making me feel funny inside!
Me: Oh, righto. I'll change the CD again. How about some COMPLETELY BLAND POP MUSIC THAT YOU ARE USED TO BEING SPOONFED BY THE SODDING RADIO. (I'm shouting now!) OR WHAT ABOUT SOME SONGS THAT YOU FIRST LISTENED TO WHEN YOU WERE A TEENAGER AND STILL LIKE BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE THE MENTAL CAPACITY TO ABSORB NEW MUSIC BECAUSE YOU ARE ARTISTICALLY NUMB TO THE WORLD. (Foaming gently at the mouth here!) FACE IT - YOU DON'T LIKE 'ANYTHING REALLY' AT ALL. YOU LIKE WALLPAPER MUSIC, AUDIO SALAD, BUBBLEGUM FOR THE EARS. CALL IT WHAT YOU LIKE, BUT LIKE IT YOU DOOOOOOO!
That's got to be the worst driving lesson I ever had.
