NOT the Saturator. The Flanger has an ADT process (not the Delay effect), google "ReelTape Suite Plugin Guide" and you'll get a link to the plugins guide from Digidesign which explains how it (the Flanger, not the SATURATOR) achieves an ADT process; it'll explain it much better than I ever will here, and I believe there's even some cool analog-looking graphics there to show what it does as well.
